Clinical Trials :

Clinical Research/ Trials is a systematic study of a new drug in human subject’s to generate data for discovering and verifying the clinical, pharmacological and adverse effects with the objective of determining safety and efficacy of the new drug.

Narayana Nethralaya has established the Department of Clinical Research in the year 2007 and involved in conducting various Sponsored, Multicentric and Multinational Clinical Trials.

We have in-house Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) adhering to ICH-GCP & Scheudule - Y guidelines. There are 6 extramural Members and 7 Internal Members in the Ethics committee.
