The department of Refractive surgeries at our hospital is amongst the very few centers in the world equipped with two state of the art and top-line LASIK machines: Zyoptix®, (with wave front guided technology) and Allegretto Wave®, with wave front link as well as the latest Pentacam® link), which helps us to individualize patient treatment depending upon their suitability. The recent introduction of Epi-LASIK at our center has enabled us to safely cater those who are at higher risk for LASIK. These dramatic new technologies alter corneal shape, thereby correcting refractive errors and removing corneal scars and other opacities that block vision with minimum risk. For the cases of high myopia and those not suitable for LASIK, we do offer Phakic Intraocular Lenses (ICL) at our center. |
